How can I challenge another member?
What are the different types of Challenges?
In a Timed challenge, the member with the highest score from the time the challenge starts until the challenge expires will win the challenge. You have unlimited attempts while the challenge is active.
In an attempt challenge members have a set number of attempts to achieve the highest score. The member with the highest score after both members have used all their attempts wins.

How does Hallpass support Developers?
Hallpass offers the following programs to the development community:
What is the Hallpass Developer Special?
We are trying to get as many games, in as many different genres as possible and so we have a special going on, all API scripts added to games will get 50 dollars USD via pay pal if they are accepted to the site. It doesn't matter how many views or plays your game gets, it is a flat rate paid the same day your game goes live on the site.
- We currently pay 50 bucks USD a game for each API added.
- All previous loaders and logos remain untouched no changes other then adding our script needed. Unless we do a (optional) custom deal, in which case we pay more money to you.
- We take pre-released games, and already have games from Armor Games, Max Games and many others using our system. Since we do not require logo or link changes this will not break your commitments to your sponsor site.
- We pay via pay pal, no contracts or any hassles almost always the same day as the game goes live.
- The score should auto submit at the end of each level, or game.
- We do bulk games (5+) deals, link swaps, bonus .... If you don't like the default offer please email us and we should be able to work something out.
More information and the 1 line of code you need to add can be found here.
Pretty nice and simple, you can see the games using the code on our site and see how people are really getting into it. We have successfully added this API to almost 500 games and add more daily, if you need to do a reference check on us feel free to contact any of the authors we have worked with, the master list can be found here: http://www.hallpass.com/channel/games/topscores/
If you like everything above these are the steps to take:
1. Add the API to your game
2. Upload it to Hallpass
3. Wait a few minutes then check your profile area, your game should appear. Play and test your game out to see if it is sending us scores, be patient as scores update every few minutes... so play, wait, then check.
4. Email us that your game has worked and you want to get paid, include your pay pal address.
***If you are unable to upload, or the game is already on Hallpass email the file directly to us and we can take care of the swap for you.
If you have any other questions/concerns/questions drop us a line at info@hallpass.com
How can I include the Hallpass Scoring System in my flash game?
Simply add this line of code to your flash game and the score will be submitted to Hallpass when the game is played on the site by a user who is logged in:
The code should be placed in the same place you calculate the final score of the game. There is no need to have a submit button to trigger the action.
The score must be a number and is required. The mode is a string, maximum of 50 characters and can be set empty if you only have one mode in your game. Otherwise mode can be set to something like "normal" or "hard".
Example 1: Scoring with a mode
In this example, the final score is calculated to be 200 and the mode is "normal".
Example 2: Scoring with a mode
In this example, the final score is calculated to be 700 and the mode is "hard".
Example 3: Scoring without a mode
If your game has only one mode, you can leave mode blank as in this example.
My game doesn't seem to be working with the API, what is wrong?
- Is your game Actionscript 2? The API only works with Actionscript 2.
- Have you encrypted/obfuscated your code?
- Do you provide both a score and a mode? You can use and empty string ("") for mode if you only have one mode or don't need to give it a name
Example:
_root.HPScoreService.postScore(200,"");
